Fejoa Tea

Ingredients

Fejoa Skins (the more the better

1 Litre of Water

1/2 Cup Sugar

Method

  1. Place Fejoa Skins in a glass Jar with a lid

  2. Cover with Sugar

  3. Pour over water

  4. Close lid and cover with a tea towel, put some place warm for 2-3 Days

  5. Pour serve and enjoy!

*Tips

*Check that the skins are submerged and not floating on the top

*In colder weather may need longer to ferment

*To make it fizzy you can do a second ferment, after you do the tea pour into bottles and add a half teaspoon of sugar then leave in a warm place to make get fizzy! 4-7 days
